This year, Samsung will launch an affordable FE model in its Galaxy Watch lineup. Now, a new leak has revealed the potential price of the Galaxy Watch FE for European markets. But not only that, as its launch would happen before the second Unpacked event of this year.
As of today, most of the key details of the Galaxy Watch FE are already known thanks to leaks. The company was even giving away the wearable with the purchase of a Galaxy S24 series device in Belgium. This suggested that the launch of the smartwatch would happen very soon. Now, according to the leaker MysteryLupin on X/Twitter, the launch of the Galaxy Watch FE will take place on June 24.
The Galaxy Watch FE would arrive this month without much hype
That said, only that model would launch before Samsung’s next Unpacked event. The main models of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series would be launched on July 10. The company’s next-generation wearables would arrive alongside the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 6 ,Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy Buds 3 series.
Releasing new FE series products without much fanfare seems to be the norm for Samsung. The launch of the latest devices in the Galaxy S FE series consisted of simply enabling the official website of the product. So, it would make sense for the Galaxy Watch FE to launch on a different date than the company’s main Galaxy products.
European price leaked
Regarding the price, the Galaxy Watch FE is said to cost €199 in Europe. Taking into account the background regarding pricing, the US should get it for less than $199. Exchange rates and taxes tend to favor the price of Samsung products in North America. The wearable would be available in three colors: Black, Silver, and Pink Gold.
This price would not be particularly attractive in Europe. After all, the Galaxy Watch 6 currently costs €189 on the old continent. Furthermore, according to leaks, the Galaxy Watch FE is not exactly a new product. It is said to actually be a re-released Galaxy Watch 4. Therefore, the Galaxy Watch 6 would have better specs.
