It’s the time of year when we’re hearing about new and exciting goodies coming from Samsung. We’ve been waiting to hear about the next version of One UI Watch. Well, according to a new report, Samsung just released the One UI 6 Watch beta, and users can try it out… well in a few countries.
We’re all waiting to see what Samsung has in store for us with its next line of smartwatches. The Galaxy Watch 7 series will come out at the company’s next Unpacked event, and we know what to expect. For starters, we’ve confirmed that the company is going to launch an affordable FE version of the Watch 7 and a more premium version called the Ultra. As for the actual hardware, we’re still in the dark about many of the details.
The One UI Watch 6 beta has just landed
If you’re eager to try out the new stuff coming to One UI Watch 6, then you’re free to do so, because the company just released the beta. The beta is coming out for the Galaxy Watch 6 family first. People who own a Galaxy Watch 6 (Review) or Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will be able to enroll in the beta program through the Samsung Members app.
As for the improvements you should expect, the company provided a list. Just know that, since this is the beta, you might not get all of the new changes right off the bat, You’ll probably need to wait for some more updates to get the full One UI 6 experience.
As for the changes, the updates include better sleep analysis, a new energy score in the Samsung Health app, the ability to make your own workout routines, faster horizontal scrolling, Universal gestures, the ability to choose which apps send notifications, control more of your watch with Modes, and many more.
One thing to note about the beta is that it’s very limited for the time being. It’s only coming to Galaxy Watch 6 owners in the U.S. and South Korea. Since this is a beta, you should expect some system instability.
