The smart ring market is pretty crazy right now, so why not throw in another option from South Korean company Exerchain.
The ExerRing is a $199 smart ring that claims to track heart rate, body temperature, SpO2, stress and more.
And of course, there’s an AI coaching element that offers supposedly tailored advice, using all those metrics to boost metabolic health and more.
You also get workout tracking (usually a disaster on smart rings) and a daily readiness score, too.

The ring itself is 2.3mm thick, and weights 4.5g, which is actually quite heavy for a smart ring. That’s possibly due to the stainless steel construction.
It’s IP68 rated, so its resistant to water, and comes in size 6-13. And there are black, gold and silver options,
The company promises 4-6 days of battery life, which would be significantly longer than most smart rings out there today.
The ExerRing essentially promises all the main features of the health-focused smart rings we’ve seen in the market, and it’s offering early birds a pre-order price of $119.
Do I sound sceptical? You better believe it. The ExerRing is launching on Kickstarter (red flag alert) and it claims it will ship in September 2024.
For a start-up company operating on Kickstarter to nail all of the biometric accuracy and AI coaching claims made here is optimistic to say the least.

Totally unrelated, that was the Iris (back in 2023) which raised £1.5m from 8,000+ backers. It’s changed name to Velia isn’t even past prototype stage, despite being 6 months overdue, and has 700 angry comments on the Indiegogo page.
